Thank you for taking the time to read about me and I will try to keep it brief. I've lived in the Charleston area since childhood and now live on Wadmalaw Island with my wife MaryBeth , our two daughters Olivia and Emily, two horses, two dogs and four cats.
Twenty-eight years ago I began a small contracting company called Square Business. Over the years I've done both residential and commercial construction. My experience includes surveying, framing, foundations, remodeling, renovation(residential and historic), plumbing, electrical, interior woodwork, cabinetry and design consultation. With so many agents and companies to choose from, I like to think this experience distinguishes me from the rest and allows me to be a more knowledgeable and effective agent for you. I know what to look out for when you are buying a home and I know what preparations are necessary when you are selling . If necessary, I'll crawl under the house and climb into the attic in order to provide you with the facts you need to be an informed buyer or seller.
After many years working for big Real Estate companies, I'm very excited this year that Charleston Property Sales has become an independent brokerage. Finally the real estate consumer has a choice to the type of service they purchase. Previous companies called me an independent agent, but I was anything but. They told me what to charge my clients, controlled my marketing and their commission programs were very loaded in their favor, which cost me and my clients. Now, I work only for you. I can treat each client on an individual basis, charging fees that are based on the level of service you desire and request.
The most important benefit that I bring to you is my determination to provide you the very best service possible and insure your satisfaction. What I've learned most from my years as an independent businessman is that satisfied customers are the cornerstone of success. Without clients who return with their business and refer me to friends and family my career would be a very short one.
